Kandinsky At The Guggenheim.

With the rain we've been having lately it's so nice to know that there are places we can go to escape from the rain and not be stuck indoors so much. Museums are a perfect place to venture out to and because we live near the city there are so many to choose from, but the Guggenheim is by far my favorite!

These photos never made it into the blog but last year before Lexie went back to college we went to the Guggenheim to check out the Kandinsky exhibit. Kandinsky is one of my favorite artists! I love it when Lexie visits and having individual time with all my daughters is so special. We love the city and I sure am going to miss days like this when I can take one of my kids with me to the museum. They are growing up rapidly and the older they get, the busier their lives get, and with that comes less visits especially when they go to colleges across the country! So I am going to treasure these memories and document these moments because they are something I always want to look back to remember!

Guggenheim - Artistic License Exhibit!

When my sister came to visit me over my birthday there was one museum she wanted to go to. The Guggenheim. She has seen it in movies, and as a backdrop on some of my Instagram photos. She has had it on her bucket list forever, and she finally made it through. Love this museum myself, and every exhibit that comes along never disappoints. The last time we were here we saw this one and it was amazing. I love the Guggenheim and always look forward to going especially during the holidays to see this cute show which has become a tradition with Noah.

Inside The Guggenheim Museum!

The past two weekends in April have been dreamy, and this past Saturday was even dreamier with the all the sunshine we had. You'd think that because the weather was too perfect that we'd spend the day outdoors and we did, but for the beginning of the morning we spent it inside the Guggenheim museum. Yessssss! After four years of taking the kids to see Peter and The Wolf we finally went all the way in!

Peter & The Wolf At The Guggenheim.

Peter and the wolf at the Guggenheim museum has become our new Christmas family tradition for Noah, and I'm only sad that I didn't bring the girls. Even though Chelsea, and Lexie are a tween and a teen I know they would have enjoyed this show. Not only because of the story, but because there is an orchestra that involves a violin, and a cello! Let's not mention that oboe player that plays on the stage.
