Happy Autumn!

Creative Hatch Studio in the borough of Chelsea in NYC sure knows how to bring out the seasons in the city and this year it is the most simple fall-ish peace sign I have ever seen. I love it and it's such a perfect sign to welcome Fall. Every season we come here just to see how the peace sign is decorated and this year they nailed it with simplicity, elegance, and vibrant colorful fall colors. The fact that it's my birthday weekend made it even more special. Oh how I love the city and this neighborhood. Someday I would love to live here but that's a dream thought.

New Yorkers sure go out for every holiday including Valentines day which is such a beautiful way of expressing their love not only for their loved ones, but for their city as well. Chelsea is one of my favorite boroughs - after all, I did name my youngest daughter after her and we absolutely love coming to this spot where she goes all out for every season and this year it looked like this! This peace sign has become an epic photo op for every occasion, and emblem on W 22nd street and no matter how many times I see this photo shared on Instagram I never grow weary of it. Every New Yorker or out of towner takes the same photo but my excuse is the fact that I have friends and family who live far, far away from here and they continue to remind me to share my love of NYC. These flowers are everything! 

Christmas Highlights of 2021!

Last day of the year and here I am scrolling through photos from Thanksgiving and remembering all the great little adventures we had. Whether it's just walking the streets of New York capturing decorative stoops to walking along a crowded fifth avenue looking at all the holiday decor. We love the city and even though we didn't get to see Santa at the Plaza that didn't stop us from getting our traditional photo. Such a special place and my how Noah has grown! I may or may not post more pics and adventures from this year in the new year but here are a few moments from the city that seemed truly magical to us! 

It's Spooky Season In Manhattan!

New York in the fall never never disappoints especially when brownstones and their stoops look like this! How fun it would be to live in one of these only so I can decorate it! Man would I love that! When fall comes around we drive into the city just so that we can walk around the upper west side to see if anyone has done any early decorating yet, and there were a few that did. Instagram helps us out with that! It's never a waste of time when we come into the city no matter what season we are in but New York in the fall is breathtaking and beautiful and so far we have seen some decorated, halloween magic among city life!

Saw this beautiful floral peace sign in the borough of Chelsea in Manhattan, and it made me smile big! No matter how rough life becomes for us or someone we love, may peace take over in our heart, and appreciate the littlee things that bring us joy.
