Happy Leap Year babies! Last day of February and all I have are random photos taken in the city. We also had a snow day but I'll share those photos next month! LOL! I did manage to sneak in a snowy valentine stoop! I love valentines graffiti and decorations and if you're lucky you'll find quite a few spots in the city that are decorated with hearts as well as bodegas covered with flowers. Oh how I love flowers! The Oculus had a red ball installation for Chinese new year, and the High line hotel never gets old. So here are a few moments of mine captured in the heart of New York City!

Beginning March With LOVE!
As you walk down 4th avenue in the west village you'll spot the most inspiring, happy decorative door designed by Carl Tallent. Each season the door at 309 is painted in various colors with themes and depending on the season he'll install flowers that will stand out and brighten up your day. Whether it's in the winter or spring you can always rely on this tiny stoop to have a decorated shiny spot to ponder and smile (and sometimes sit for a quick photo) as you walk by.

Sending Love, Hope, & Prayers To The Ukraine.
Closing out February with lots of love and hope especially for the people of Ukraine who are going through so much right now.
Last week while in Washington D.C. and finding out why people were rallying for Ukraine and hearing their political thoughts and feelings about what’s happening in their country weighed heavily in our hearts.
I didn’t want to feel guilty for having the “freedoms” that I have and for enjoying my time with my family. So instead I stayed positive and expressed that example to my kids by finding ways to help our fellow man from afar.
Kids today hear everything and exposing them to areas where rallies are held raises questions and I’m grateful that my girls are old enough to understand what’s happening right now & that Noah- who’s a tender hearted 12-year-old was curious about what’s currently happening in the Ukraine.
So grateful for answers that come quickly to my mind to let him know that life doesn’t have to be this way - but unfortunately things are going to happen like this. That all we can do is find ways to help, have faith that they’ll survive and be safe, stand with them, and to always pray. Because without faith, hope and prayer it’s hard to get through life. At least for me.
So let’s hope and pray that this week will be a better one for the Ukraine in hopes that there will be drastic change and that we in return will do our part and do whatever we can from our end to help & stand with them!

Love Is In The Air In NYC!
One thing I LOVE about the city on Valentines is how so many businesses and residents decorate their stoops. There are also many artists who will spread the love by creating their own art on their doors or a random wall on the street along with art installations and sculptures. This month we went to town all over the city and stopped by so many cute places where there were people speeding the love and we just had to capture each other in them. Since Jon works every single day until dusk my kids are my sweethearts when it comes to taking pictures during the days that lead up to Valentines day. Luckily we came on a Saturday where Chelsea was able to capture at least one photo of me and her pa!
