Happy Earth Day!

Not only is it a week of service but it's also earth day today. Spring is absolutely stunning right now with the tulips in bloom. We went to the D.C. during conference weekend and the blossoms and cherry trees are all in bloom right now. It's too bad it doesn't last very long. The water is still a bit nippy in the mornings and it warms up during the day. We have had quite a bit of rain showers and are expecting more. Luckily the flowers hang on and are still in bloom. I hope that we find the time to serve in the temple and if you can't enter in the temple smiling at a stranger is good enough. And of course-to keep the earth clean and as healthy as possible. I mean, we do what we can to keep the earth alive right? Whether it's cleaning up trash at parks, or picking up someone else's trash on their property or the side of the road. It's pretty simple to keep our earth looking beautiful and I hope it continues to thrive!

Happy Earth Day!

Blossoms are our favorite things about spring and these crabapple trees are all over our neighborhood. There are so many ways to celebrate earth day and sure there are things that we can do such as planting, recycling, and cleaning up the trash that people leave behind on the sides of the streets but one of our favorite things we love to do is go for a walk and just look at all that mother earth has given us. And really take it in and appreciate that if it wasn't for the plants, flowers, and green grass we would have no air to breathe. So with all the doom and gloom that this pandemic seems to be bringing we jump for joy, and make the best of earth day this year and replace that with a smile filled with brightness, sunshine and joy! Expressing gratitude for all that mother nature continues to give us. So let us take care of her.

For The Beauty Of The Earth!

It looks like spring has officially sprung in our neck of the woods! The weather this past weekend was electrifying, and perfect in every way. We didn't do much on Saturday because Noah worked on his little car for the pinewood derby so he and Jon spent most of the day working on it. I vowed that I wasn't going to be cooped up in the house so the girls and I decided to play some tennis. I love this part of spring when it's not too cold, and not too hot, and it was a perfect day to play! It was euphoric, and I'm so glad that I got myself out there for a little bit of a workout!
