I captured a few moments of the kids doing various activities lately including making a thankful sign to those who are out risking their lives. It's mostly for all essential workers but because their dad is a UPS driver made it especially for those who deliver all kind of essential/nonessential goodies! We are all trying to get through this pandemic the best way we know how and one thing I love to do is take pictures. Since this is the season where we go out and venture to places like Central Park, and D.C. to see the beauty of the blossoms in all their glory I decided to capture a few shots of the kids inside our home in all their glory! While it's not always fun and games in this house at the end of the day there's quite a bit of laughter, and I'm sorry's along with smiles and a prayer saying, "tomorrow is another day to try again."
This is life lately quarantined in black and white!
For some reason I felt as if January didn't fly by fast enough as I thought it would. Maybe it's because I am longing to have more family time with all my kids particularly Lexie before she leaves for her mission. I think time knows that I don't want it to fly as much because of that. So much has happened during this month and because I haven't blogged on the daily, I would like to combine all the special events and mundane moments that happened this month....
I have to admit that I've been unmotivated to blog lately and that is okay with me. I honestly think it's the rainy weather that we've been having, and to be honest I haven't felt the least bit guilty. The rain causes my bones to ache espeically my back so sitting in front of the computer for even an hour can really take a toll on me. My sister tells me it's arthritis and i believe it is. After all, I will be 48 in a couple of months and as we age certain parts of our body get out of whack! Luckily I have a young heart and refuse to let anything even signs of arthritis bring me down, and so I wanted to jot down a little bit of what has been going on lately.
There are times when you just need to escape, and get away from social media, and blogging. As much as I love to blog I find that as my kids grow older, and because it's summer time I'd rather give them my physical attention. The fact that my Mac has been in the shop didn't help my motivation to write either, but I'm back and hope to write more as the kids return back to school in a couple of weeks.
Ever since school started the months have been rushing one into another, and I can't believe that Thanksgiving is this Thursday! The past few weeks have flown by but by capturing the moments of my day to day in pictures is my way to preserve my memory, and to savor, and appreciate even the simplest of moments. I love making new friends, and entertaining in my home (even if it's just been the missionaries from our church lately),
