Helping Lexie getting ready for prom had me feeling a bit melancholy too knowing that this is it. Her final prom, and the ending of her high school career. She has about 20 more days left of her senior year, and in all honesty I hope she finds joy in them rather than wanting to just graduate already! Which she pretty much is soooooooooo ready to move to the next chapter of her life...college!
OH what a weekend, and holy photos! Brace yourselves with this post because once again there's going to be a ton of photos! There will be a second post tomorrow with photos from the day of Lexie's actual prom. I went to town capturing different angles of this beautiful girl at Sayen gardens, and on top of that literally got a total of six hours of sleep throughout the entire weekend!
"Promposals" didn't exist back in my high school days, and if they did my prom date in my senior year sure as heck didn't do anything like this, and had he done even something close to this man, oh man maybe we would have ended the night on good terms, but that's a whole other post!
This post is mainly going to consist of photos because everyone looked so beautiful. Lexie getting asked to prom got her pretty giddy mainly because she loves the group of friends she went with, and the young man she escorted was a gentleman. So instead of writing my heart out as to how the day went in regards to her getting ready, and all the fun that happened before I am going to quote Lexie as to what she wrote on her instagram she shared with her friends about attending her first prom in her junior year, "Hey, so um...never had a conversation before but...prom?? Tubular-est night ever!" And the comments to that, "no comment." Seriously though, everyone said she looked beautiful! And we all agreed!
