Sunflower Season!
Sunflower season is blooming and being that we live in the garden state there are so many sunflower fields to go to. I discovered this beautiful sunflower field last month on my way to Freehold called Del Jardin. It truly is a hidden gem and a simple field at that. Never have I've been to a peaceful and more secluded place. If you go as soon as they open on Thursday or Friday you can find some time for yourself and take in the beauty of the flowers. Noah was photographer for that moment and he captured me pretty well I think!

Sunflower Maze At Happy Day Farm.
I will always remember the first time we went to a sunflower field and it was the most gorgeous thing to do during summer. I couldn't let the summer pass us by without venturing out to one, and luckily we have so many here in the garden state! I discovered one much closer to us in Manalapan and it was beautiful. We went on one of the hottest days this summer, and still had fun. The kids wandered around traipsing along the field trying to find that perfect sunflower. Sweat, and the words "I'm hot, can we go now" were constantly uttered by Noah. It didn't take us too long to meander, and pick because all the flowers were perfect, and capturing moments of this day was pretty easy. That is until Noah began to complain about how "toasty" the sun was getting!

Sunflower Fields Forever!
Ever since school let out and summer began my focus has been on making sure the kids have a productive summer, but ever since our car has been in the shop, and how much I've been talking to family, and close friends I realized that not everything has to be accomplished on one's summer bucket list. This summer has been fleeting like no other and in all honesty all I want to do is pause time. Time because my kids are getting older way too fast. Time because I feel as if I missed out on certain things with my two oldest daughters as opposed to my two youngest.
