Knowing me I would have made the holes to big! Noah was a bit bummed, and went through a bit of withdrawal but it was pretty cool to see the sky darken up, but the desire to see the eclipse went away after eating lunch at McDonalds when it hit our neck of the woods. We didn't get full totality on our part of the country, but it was nice to have seen a gazillion photos, and live videos of the eclipse on Instagram, and they were pretty cool!.So in a sense it's okay that we missed it, but next time we will be more prepared for the eclipse.
Summer is still in our hearts, and since the day is overcast, and cloudy decided to post these photos which were taken last week. We spent all day in our "mini sheep meadow" playing frisbee that is until the mosquitos began chowing down on our legs. The kids love the swings, running, and I of course was behind the camera capturing happy moments of that day!
Except for this photo where Noah is looking all serious on purpose! He really is a happy kid 95 percent of the time! Blame it on getting bit by mosquitos! He kept saying, "if I move around they won't eat me, but if I stand they'll suck on my blood forever!"
Now he's smiling! It was another perfect summer day for these kiddos! Let's hope the sun comes out soon!
