Road Trip To Texas Part Two.

 

One thing I love about Texas are the sunsets. We were driving on a highway and captured the sky. It looked as if it was on fire. Road trips are a highlight of our summer and I absolutely enjoy them.

I wrote more about our trip here so this post is going to be a simple and sweet one. Visiting family and a small circle of friends was limited but I am grateful I made the time to see two of them. Whataburger, Polar pops from circle K, authentic Mexican food and pizza from Young's pizza were other highlights of the trip. Also, can't leave Texas without eating pan dulce at a Mexican bakery! We ate at whataburger at least 10 times! I took advantage of the whataburger app and always got a free whataburger every time! It was great and every time we'd step in and out of the car we were sweating and burning the calories. Texas summers are super hot and humid and I think we lost a couple of pounds by just being there. 

Yeah, it was a bittersweet, simple road trip and as long as our bodies are somewhat young we would do it all over again!
