The Shortest Date.

Oh how I wish Jon had more one on one time to spend with Lexie while she was here over winter break so he could have taken her out on a proper date. His job permits him to take holidays off especially during Christmas because packages have to be delivered, and since he is one of the best carriers in the city management relies on him to get those 300 plus packages delivered during the month of December.
Unless it's a dire, major emergency they'll allow him to take time off, but luckily we had the weekends with him where we were all able to spend some quality time with him, and in this case...get a Vietnamese drink with Lexie. 

It literally was one of the shortest dates they've ever had because it was on the day she was flying out. It didn't matter, and Jon wanted to take her to one of his favorite spots. They are both into funky drinks, and he wanted her to try this place with him. They always enjoy each others company, and love how they are nerdy together. They had fun, and then off she went to the airport where we said our goodbyes. 

I can't believe she turns 19 in four days! I guess you can say this was her little birthday treat before she left, and by the looks of this photo she had a great time!
