20 & 25 IN 2025!!
All is have to say is that time flies and now all my girls are in their 20's!!! It's hard to believe that my baby girl turned 20 last week and Lexie turned 25! It's surreal and I'm so happy they are both living in the same town going to the same school and living a good life. They surely are surviving the things of the world that is thrown at them in todays generation! I pray for them everyday and wish them a wonderful semester in school this year! This will be Lexie's final semester and then she will graduate this spring!! Can't wait! Happy birthday to my two beautiful girls!

Birthday Girls Celebrate Birthdays Together For The First Time In Five Years!
This past Monday Lexie and Chelsea celebrated their birthdays together for the first time in five years! It is so nice that they're both going to the same college, live about 10 minutes away from each other and that they celebrated their birthdays together. Such a blessing and by the looks of their Instagram story looked like they had a fun time getting their nails done and just celebrating it in the simplest way. Love their relationship in sisterhood and how thrifty they are. I did teach them you know! The special part of their birthday is being born on the actual day of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I wrote about their birthdays here when I first started this blog in 2011. I'll just rewrite what I wrote to them then on here again...
"Born on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday you two have resembled all of his characteristics, and I believe that is why y'all were both born on his birthday. You both are very strong willed, and are not afraid to use your voice. Especially you Chelsea! You two have the chance to wish upon something so great in your life that you'll hope it'll come true. The best part of living this life is that you can dream anytime, and anywhere. Dreams are what make our life interesting, and sometimes those dreams become your life. I don't ever want any of you to give up on your wishes, or on your dreams."
So grateful for these two lovely girl of ours. They sure have come a long way in what their goals are and hope that they achieve them in the future. They deserve only the best.
Cheers to turning 19 and 24! May all your wishes and dreams come true girls!

Sweet 16 & 21 in 2021!
Well, here we are nearing the end of January and I am now just blogging about two of my girls milestone birthdays. I wish I had the desire to blog more but as I've written in previous blog posts Instagram has taken over that part of my writing. Not only does my back start hurting after sitting down for a long period of time but I'm also beginning to value my time even more now. Sure the fact that my kids are still doing remote school has something to do with it and because of Noah being in my room all day for school my personal space is very limited. I also don't want to constantly be in front of the computer too much either. It hurts my eyes and I don't want my eyesight to get any worse than it already is. So there are my excuses as to why I only have a couple blog posts this month!

15 On The 15th & 20 in 2020!
The title of this birthday post may be a bit cheesy but feel it is fitting for the new decade and new year! My middle daughter turns 20 and my baby girl turns 15 today! Time certainly has flown within the past few years with these two. I love how they continue to blossom in their own way. They are such a blessing in our lives and as each day passes become more mature and beautiful. They truly exhibit a light of love and no matter what comes their way they always try their best each day to live a good life. Happy Birthday to our two lovely daughters!

19 & 14.
Today is Lexie and Chelsea's birthday, and I can't even bear the thought of not having Lexie here celebrating hers with us. For the past 13 years she has celebrated it with Chelsea, and now that she is 2000 miles is celebrating with her older sister. It makes me happy knowing that she will be spending it among good friends including her sister Sierra, and that makes me happy! Knowing that she's not celebrating it alone!

Happy Birthday Girls! 18 & 13!!
It's official. I now have another adult in the house and a teenager! To be born on Martin Luther King's birthday is empowering because MLK was a great man, and a person who will always be remembered. These two girls have so much of his personality because they are fearless in what they believe in, and are not afraid to share their voice when it comes to matters of the world. They also have a lot of me in them too! Especially Chelsea. She's 100% me, and 100% Jon which sometimes can be good, and sometimes not, but that's a whole other post. Today is their birthday, and I am so happy to be celebrating them.
