Go yankees...

Going to a Yankees game in the summer time is a must and even though this game was a bust we still had a good time. I love the energy of the fans and the cheering and the clapping and singing YMCA every time. We love, love this tradition and we will see a game as long as we are living here. Even if it's just the three of us. Such a fun summer so far.

Yankees!

So far this week temps have been brutal as high as 95 degrees and we have pretty much been staying indoors. However we did go to a yankees game last weekend and even though we went in the evening it was still scorching hot! Humid. We quenched our thirst throughout the entire game and sweated and were totally sticky by the end of the night. Nonetheless we had a good time and even though I'm not a baseball aficionado I love going to the games. It's such a vibe. The crowd, the energy they give when the Yankees are winning. It's the best and I love it! One of these days we will be on the Jumbotron but at least we get to get down with the crowds singing YMCA!

Going to see the yankees is always a highlight during the summer in NYC. Especially for Noah. Now that he's gotten older he understands the stats of the players. One of his favorite players is Aaron Judge and how exciting it was to see him hit a home run. Definitely the highlight of this game. It was such a perfect day especially when you get cheap seats for $10-20 bucks!! And for five people!! The weather was perfect and although it was hot we were up on top where you can feel a breeze. It was such a great game and look forward to seeing the yankees every summer! So fun that I had to make a little reel which you can see here from my Instagram!

It's baseball season and we are so thrilled to be going to see the Yankees again this year! These photos never made it to the blog last year so I'm documenting them for my posterity and as a reminder of how much fun it is to go to a baseball game. Noah loves coming to the games only if they are winning because he says when they don't play well it becomes boring! LOL! I'm especially happy that Lexie will be able to go with us this time around. The first time we went to a yankees game was in 2018 and it was a blast! I got tickets for an earlier game and I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting tickets for a later game only because the sunsets are amazing from the bleachers. Hopefully it'll be a great game this weekend and that it'll be a long one to the point where we can see the sun set!

A couple of weeks ago we did something that we've been wanting to do since we moved to the east, and well we finally did it! We went to a Yankees game, and boy did we have the time of our life for those four and a half short hours!
