A Hayride To The Pumpkin Patch At Johnson's Farm!

So far the month of October has kept us outdoors going to "fallish" places. particularly to various pumpkin patches, and we are loving it! One can never get enough of pumpkin patches especially when temperatures are in the 70's! Since the kids had no school yesterday we decided to find ourselves a hayride. We've already gone to pick pumpkins, and apples, but missed out on the hayride.

Luckily we have a gazillion pumpkin patches all over Jersey, but unfortunately most of the patches in my area only have hayrides on the weekends! Booooooo! Then I remembered that Johnson's Farm in Medford has hayrides during the week, and off we went on to yet another pumpkin patch-with a hayride!
The fact that there was no school made the day more fun, and since we already picked pumpkins to set on our stoop we decided to pick more to carve which we hope to do this weekend! I love, love these moments with my kids, and as always captured them in the act as they walked around the pumpkin patch picking more pumpkins. Since we were on a time limit the girls didn't have time to be selective, and picked pumpkins pretty quick.

I always have so much fun with the kids, but something is always missing on outings like this, especially on a weekday. We miss having Jon around. Noah always looks forward to the weekends to hanging out with papa, and hopes he always has the energy to do something fun with us, and he always does!

Hope y'all are enjoying this wonderful weather, and that your weekend is great!
