Mum-Picking With Noah!

Even though it felt a little like an Indian summer on the first day of fall when we went apple picking, summer is officially over, and after having so many summer time shenanigans with my family I'm so happy that fall has arrived. Autumn has our name written all over it, and we are so ready for a new season!

The week before fall began felt so much like autumn that I just had to go mum picking. Hurricane Florence had made landfall in Fayetteville, North Carolina and the remnants of Flo brought a lot of rain to our neck of the woods which was fine with me. We ended up staying home for a bit, but when the rain stopped I had to get out to feel the feeling of a pre-fall season. So.......
Noah and I decided to go to a local flower shop where they had the cutest mum garden. It was quaint which made it easier for us to pick.
Well, almost easy.
Since Chelsea was stuck at a theatre meeting we decided to just buy one. Just one, and Noah still had the hardest time picking one. He's so picky!
He finally picked one, and because the day was too perfect to leave so soon captured a few more photos of Noah because, well..he's so cute, and photogenic!

Can't believe that Halloween is next month! Fall is such a short season, but you better believe that we are going to go "(f)all out" and try to do some of the fun things on our fall bucket list!

Cheers to officially being Fall!
