I will always remember the first time I saw King Kong. I was about ten years old, and remember watching it on television. Back then the special effects weren't that great, but when you're a child you don't care, and everything is amazing in our eyes! Espeically when Sierra & Lexie saw it for the first time in 2005. Lexie was five, and still remember the tears streaming down her face when King Kong was getting shot at on the top of the empire state building. Chelsea was barely born when that movie came out, and she and Noah watched it for the first time a couple of years ago. Now we are all King Kong fans!
When we heard that King Kong was coming to broadway we were excited! I knew I had to score tickets right away, and i did at a screaming deal! We all went, and it was a pretty amazing show. The tech was amazing, and the music made you want to get up and dance. The way they managed to manuever a 20 foot tall King Kong puppet on stage was pretty cool, and the acting was strong, and spectacular. Everyone did an amazing job.
Such a fun day with my family of four. Broadway has our hearts, and love this city so much!
