We weren't planning on going anywhere for Labor Day weekend but at the last minute we decided to head out to upstate New York and get some r & r in Lake George. Luckily Jon had a long weekend so we can make this possible and the drive up there is always beautiful.
Brace yourselves because this post is going to consist of a lot of photos of us "croqueting." It has definitely become a favorite game of ours, and the kids could not get enough of this game.

I honestly think that Jon is the best player out of our whole crew! Then again he's great at tennis, golf, basketball, and everything! He has such great aim!
We were only here for two days so we didn't do too much but play croquet and since the weather was a bit nippy didn't swim, but the walk to Lake George was absolutely gorgeous.
I didn't take too many photos because I have never been here, and wanted to pay attention to this little town and all that it had to offer. But I did take a lot of photos of the kids croqueting!
After a while the kids were playing a game called "chasing chelsea" (At least that's what Noah called it) in the backyard of the resort hotel. They had fun as always, and continued to enjoy the scenery and quaint town of Lake George.

We are back home now, and although it was a short trip we had a great time, and in between those "are we there yet", "how much longer", and "I'm hungry" moments we always manage to make our trips the best!
