More NYC Scenes At Christmas!

As promised here are more scenes and holiday decor from my favorite city. I absolutely love this time of year and as much as we are tempted to live here it would be amazing especially since rent costs are constantly getting lower, but it's all up to Jon's job and I don't think they want to lose one of their best drivers in Jersey! Anyway here are a few more photos. There is still so much to see and do around the holidays, and after Christmas. I wrote this blog post last year and listed some of the fun places to go during Christmas. It truly is a magical city this time of year!
I love how this fire station is decorated. It's an iconic landmark in Tribeca where they filmed the Ghostbusters movies. It's perfectly fitting to doll it up for the holidays!
This peace sign is displayed at Creative hatch studio in Chelsea. Every season the owner decorates this peace sign and this year it's red plaid with Santa! Last year it was a snowy scene. She's truly talented!

The Oculus is also shining bright for the holidays.
One cannot go to the city without shopping at FAO Schwarz. This is my son's favorite store. Everytime especially around his birthday and Christmas there are two must haves. Go to the lego store and FAO Schwarz. Oh, and take a picture with a toy soldier!
These pics were taken a week after the Rockefeller  tree arrived. It wasn't decorated yet. It's still exciting to see it standing up in the midst of a pandemic and to see the ice skating rink open. It was nice going to the city before the holidays started picking up crowds. I would stay away Christmas week!
Not decked out for the holidays but The strand bookstore is a fun store to shop at. This is one of their newest locations on Columbus which is smaller than their flagship store. I love their bags and postcards and of course books! Noah really enjoys coming here and on this day we bought postcards to write to his sisters that live out of state. It's easier for him to write short sentences as opposed to a long letter! So postcards work perfectly for him!
There's still so much for me to highlight which I may do later but this is all for now!
