A Few More Things To Do In NYC This Christmas!

We may not live in the city, but boy do we "live" for the city! Next to New England, New York has become our second home, and place to visit because we are always venturing out there. A few friends have even asked if we've moved there only because we frequent there so much. This city all year round is magical, and energetic. It doesn't matter what time of the year you come because it is so fun, and beautiful! Christmas time is one of our favorite times of the year to go, and Thanksgiving day is when we begin to celebrate the holidays!

Last year I wrote a few of our favorite things to do about the places we've been to and what we like to do over the holidays in New York City. It's good to do your traditions early, or in late November to avoid major crowds, but in all honesty we don't care about the crowds. It's probably because I don't live here. Maybe my feelings toward tourists and crowds would be different if we actually lived in the city, but when we go they don't bother me one bit.

Every year we have done repetitious activities that never get old! We love it, and whether you live an hour, or across the country hope that someday you'll come visit to experience the city of lights.

Here are a few more things you can do during the Christmas season in New York. I found them on the New York Instagram page. We've already done some of the things on this list, and hope to create more memories with our kids in this crazy, but magical city!

•Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lights
•Eat at Eataly Flatiron's new winter restaurant on the roof SERRA ALPINA
•SantaCon (December 8th)
•Have some frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity
•If you have little ones Watch Peter and the wolf at the Guggenheim (Dec 8-9th)
•Ice skating at Central Park, and Winter village at Bryant park through March 3
•New Year's Eve at the Rainbow Room

•Santa Clause at Macy's Herald Square (need to make reservations in advance)
•Help those in need by donating your time or money to a worthy cause. aka, Light the World!

I'm sure there are there are more holiday festivities to do, but these are a few places we've been to, and experienced, and it is magic at it's best!

Happy Friday, and hope y'all have a wonderful season of fun!
