As you walk down 4th avenue in the west village you'll spot the most inspiring, happy decorative door designed by
Carl Tallent. Each season the door at 309 is painted in various colors with themes and depending on the season he'll install flowers that will stand out and brighten up your day. Whether it's in the winter or spring you can always rely on this tiny stoop to have a decorated shiny spot to ponder and smile (and sometimes sit for a quick photo) as you walk by.
You'll also find a gorgeous Tiffany & Co. pop up shop that is currently selling tulips that are displayed outside right in the corner. It's a cute little shop and they also sell jewelry that's out of my budget, but oh how nice it is to go for a walk in the west village on 4th street to see these beautiful signs of spring.
By the way this door was painted for Valentines day all month long and I'm sure it's been repainted by now and look forward to what the talented and wonderful artist
