Weather in April has been bipolar lately. We have had rainy cold weather for a week and then for one day it was 75 degrees. I know that April showers bring May flowers but I would actually like the weather to feel like spring instead of winter! Regardless of the weather I try to make it a good day. It's funny how we go out on rainy, overcast days but I realized that those are the days that are perfect for outdoor pictures. Industry city has a beautify floral installation right now and we went earlier this month and it's absolutely gorgeous! So colorful and with Easter approaching makes it a perfect backdrop for photos. Even for Mother's day next month! We are expecting warmer temps this weekend so let's hope the forecast isn't teasing us about all that sunshine next week! Happy Spring!

Sunflowers of Hope And Ways to Help Kids In Need In The Ukraine.
Well, the war between Russia and the Ukraine continues and I don't think it's going to end anytime soon. All we can do right now is to continue to pray and find ways to support the Ukrainians from afar. There is so much that we can do right now without having to spend so much money. Noah's scout troop here in New Jersey is accepting donations such as cots, folding beds, pads, flashlights, lamps, cell phones, walkie talkies, and radios. So much need for our fellow man and I wish I could physically be there for them to help fight. I'm an American but a healthy woman and it's unfathomable to see what's happening. Talking to my Ukrainian friends has been heartbreaking and they are being as strong as they can be. Please continue to help in any way that you can. Seek out your neighboring Boy Scout troops through your schools and please click on this link to help the kids in need in Ukraine!
The Sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine and walking by this door at 309 in NYC is a hopeful sign that one day it will end and bring back all the goodness and brightness back just as the beautiful sunflowers do.

Beginning March With LOVE!
As you walk down 4th avenue in the west village you'll spot the most inspiring, happy decorative door designed by Carl Tallent. Each season the door at 309 is painted in various colors with themes and depending on the season he'll install flowers that will stand out and brighten up your day. Whether it's in the winter or spring you can always rely on this tiny stoop to have a decorated shiny spot to ponder and smile (and sometimes sit for a quick photo) as you walk by.

Year of The Pig!
The Shops At Columbus Circle is one of our favorite malls in Manhattan. There is always some art installation happening inside the building. To be honest I come here more for the art than to shop! Oh, and to get my free monthly gift from Sugarfina. They seriously have the best candy. As we entered the mall we saw this cute red pig dressed up in flowers. Such a cute floral installation. There is so much going on here in the city during Chinese Lunar new year.

Noah-isms//Spring Edition.
To start off this lovely edition of Noah's "Noah-isms" I have to share with you that Noah's favorite saying lately has been "what the what!" At first I thought he was going to say the "f" word, and the only reason I say that is because kids his age are saying that, but luckily he didn't, and he hasn't, and even though he's heard it he knows it's a dirty word, and vows he'll never say it, but then again he's eight, and innocent which makes me want to keep him at that age forever, but then again he has to grow up, be challenged, and tested, and learn in order for him to grow up to be charming, strong, and valiant!

"Flower Power" Art Installations in New York City!
I know I've mentioned this before but one of my favorite things I love about New York is when you randomly go out of the blue especially after having a loooooooong snowy day! New York is definitely a city full of surprises, and as we were in Soho the other day we walked by this awesome looking red car with a lot of fresh flowers displayed inside. It was absolutely beautiful. There were so many people taking pictures with it, and I swear most of them were models with photographers holding cameras the size of an old-fashioned boombox!
