Road trip to Utah has come and gone and for the past ten days we have been catching up on some sleep! Even though school has started we are still adjusting to our back to school schedule so I finally found some time to hop on here and write about our first trip to Chicago! We've never been and I don't know why we never made a trip here sooner. It's only a 13 hour drive and having family living here should have been a good excuse as ever to come more often and should have done this trip a long time ago! We spent an entire day here before heading toward Utah and I'm so glad we stopped by. It is a magical, clean, beautiful city and it truly gives off a cozy and homey vibe. As much as I love NYC I totally fell in love with Chicago and we will definitely be back to visit Kenzie, have more deep dish pizza, ride the "L" and see the bean when it opens up again in 2024! Can you believe we missed it by two weeks and now it's gated and being worked on! Still, it was a fabulous trip and look forward to visiting again soon!
Now for some photos.....
The Chicago waterfront is so dreamy and I could just sit on those steps all day!
Tried Deep dish pizza for the first time and Noah called it "lasagna pizza" because it was so thick and filled with cheese! It was pretty tasty! My favorite part was the crust!
The Chicago bean and so bummed we couldn't take pics standing next to it! Next year we will though!
Happy sibs!
This clock though!
Random photos taken as we were walking the streets of Chicago!
Riding the "L" was so fun!!!!
Buckingham fountain was refreshing and so cool to watch.
My baby girl who is the reason we are driving toward Utah!
The best part of Chicago was seeing our cousin Kenzie! She's so lucky to be living in a fabulous city and love her so much. We will definitely be back!
