A Day Out In Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania!

Last Saturday we took a break from going to the city and ventured out to Pennsylvania where there was more open space, fresh air, and a little bit of a mountain top. The weather was close to 75 degrees and after Chelsea's piano recital we tidied up the house and took off to spend day in a small old mining town called Jim Thorpe.

I love that there are so many quaint little towns in Pennsylvania. The two hour drive makes it worth spending the day here. So many quaint shops, and restaurants, and ice cream places to choose from. And we tried a few!
We all had so much fun except for Jon which explains why he's not in any of these photos. His allergies began acting up and went back to the car to rest. We did bring him back a shamrock smoothie on our way home. I captured as many shots as I could of this sweet town with the kids. All the shops were so interesting, and unique.

And as you can see Noah still has a love for trains.

The day was complete once he hopped on that train.
