A Simple Little Egg Hunt!

This is the time of year where spring days are meant to be spent outside. With everything that was once brown having turned into pink blooming trees motivates us to spend time outdoors, and when you add clear blue skies, and sunshine to the mix calls for a little egg hunt.
Since it rained all day last Saturday we weren't able to hold our own egg hunt, and even though we could have had one in our house it's just not the same. The kids patiently waited, and we picked a cute stop at a nearby park where we had ourselves a simple little egg hunt. 

The plan was for Chelsea to help hide the eggs, but because Noah loves challenges, and competition when it comes to any kind of hunting he wanted Chelsea to participate, and she did. She's such a good sport, and even though she says she maaaaayyyyyy be too old underneath I know she longs to find those plastic bright colorful eggs so that she can sink her teeth into some chocolate, and go shopping with any money that may be inside! Oh...and to find that golden egg! So yeah, she still loves egghunts, and I Love that she still has that inner 10 year old lingering inside her heart! 

Noah ended up finding the golden egg!

Spring can't get any better! It was another perfect and glorious day with these kiddos!
