Happy Friday And Thoughts On My Grey Hair.

I’ve been getting a lot of compliments about my grey hair lately and how cool it is for me to just let it all grow out and let go!

And then there are some who ask, “are you ever going to color it again.”

In all honesty that question was annoying at first but have become used to it and luckily my comebacks are an emphatic "no" and because these people know how I am won’t ask me again.

And while there are days when I debate on coloring it again I honestly don’t want to. Not only does it cost money but I've noticed that it wears and tears on my hair and I would like to keep my curl and whatever hair I have left on my head! LOL!

And I love my hair...

Noah Lately: Before and After - Braces!

He didn’t want them but he needed them because of his small mouth that are crowding his teeth. He wishes he would have taken after me with having my teeth instead of his dad but oh well. Now he’s going to know how his sister felt when she had braces. But oh look how cute his smile is before and after he got his braces! And just like his sister, once these are off in 20 month (fingers crossed) his smile, teeth everything will look even more beautiful and awesome! Love, love this kid! #onlyboy

New York (Not London) Calling!

Oh - how I wish this was London but I'll take a red phone booth on display in New York city any day! This was such a fun pop up while walking the streets of New York. Jon and I both stood inside individually waiting for the phone to ring to say, "I want to see things differently" and if we'd win anything but we didn't! Every thing that we randomly run into or hear about what's happening in the city is fun and energetic and this small moment of us pretending to be in London was worth capturing the moment!

Urban Jungle On Park Avenue!

Urban Jungle on Park Avenue...

Heard about these “polymals” sculptures and we finally had the chance to take a look at them. Noah and I enjoyed walking down park avenue talking while taking about them and he even chuckled a bit when he saw that the mammoths name was Manny from ice age. His favorite was of course the gorilla. He loved the broadway show King Kong and loves all the King Kong movies!

These colorful, polygonal shaped animal sculptures by world-renowned artist artist and sculptor Idriss B. and Murray Hill Neighborhood Association included Rexor the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Mojo the Gorilla, Baloo the Bear, Manny the Mammoth and more. The are all displayed along Park Avenue between 34th and 38th Streets. They are on view until next February so plenty of time to plan a trip to the city to walk down park avenue to see these amazing sculptures!

Phantom Of The Opera On Broadway!

In spite of what's happening in the world we cannot let it bring us down or prevent us from doing our day to day. I love spending time with my family and having date days and evenings with my husband is something we NEED and to be honest doing the smallest things such as reading and getting outside helps me escape from the worries of the world. There are a million ways we can find peace among ourselves without having to feel guilty that we are out and about doing things but life has to go on. And the fact that we live in the U.S.A. there is only so much we can do to help serve our fellow man.

Sunflowers of Hope And Ways to Help Kids In Need In The Ukraine.

Well, the war between Russia and the Ukraine continues and I don't think it's going to end anytime soon. All we can do right now is to continue to pray and find ways to support the Ukrainians from afar. There is so much that we can do right now without having to spend so much money. Noah's scout troop here in New Jersey is accepting donations such as cots, folding beds, pads, flashlights, lamps, cell phones, walkie talkies, and radios. So much need for our fellow man and I wish I could physically be there for them to help fight. I'm an American but a healthy woman and it's unfathomable to see what's happening. Talking to my Ukrainian friends has been heartbreaking and they are being as strong as they can be. Please continue to help in any way that you can. Seek out your neighboring Boy Scout troops through your schools and please click on this link to help the kids in need in Ukraine!

The Sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine and walking by this door at 309 in NYC is a hopeful sign that one day it will end and bring back all the goodness and brightness back just as the beautiful sunflowers do.

Neil Simon's Plaza Suite!

Waited almost two years to see Neil Simon's Plaza Suite on broadway and we finally saw it over the weekend! Sarah Jessica Parker and her hubby Matthew Broderick were hilarious and Jon and I couldn't stop laughing! We still are till this day. These two amazing actors were cheerful and fun and sure work well together. I would love to see it again and again. Mostly because their characters remind me of me and Jon in some form! Oh, what a night! Such a perfect evening spent with our favorites "Carrie" and "Ferris." It was perfection and definitely worth the wait!

Beginning March With LOVE!

As you walk down 4th avenue in the west village you'll spot the most inspiring, happy decorative door designed by Carl Tallent. Each season the door at 309 is painted in various colors with themes and depending on the season he'll install flowers that will stand out and brighten up your day. Whether it's in the winter or spring you can always rely on this tiny stoop to have a decorated shiny spot to ponder and smile (and sometimes sit for a quick photo) as you walk by.
