The San Antonio Riverwalk & The Alamo!

On our way to see my momma in Corpus we decided to make a pit stop in San Antonio. Like our day trip to New Orleans time spent here was really short. We had enough time to eat some yummy Mexican food, see the Alamo, and walk along the Riverwalk. Even in this heat we had a nice time. Noah was mesmerized with the Alamo. He had a gazillion and one questions about what happened here, and luckily I know my history about this place because we didn't have time to do the tour in its entirety. He loves everything that deals with historical monuments, generals, guns, and soldiers which in this case totally suited him because of what happened here.

The kids learned a lot about this place and the kids grabbed their souvenir pennies, and we continued to be on our way to walk along the riverwalk. The kids found this place interesting, and loved it. I love it here, and even though Sierra wasn't with us on this trip I'm glad we brought her here when we lived here years ago. So much history in this modern city, and San Antonio will always have a special place in my heart. One thing I'll recommend is not coming here in the summer because of the heat, and tourists!

Now for some more photos of this beautiful place in the summer!

In spite of the hustle and bustle of this day we had a great time. Good thing we have lived in Jersey all these years where we are pros and juggling many places at once! I don't know how we do it, but it helps to have kids who are also used to being taken around many places. Next time we visit we will take our time, and come when it's not hot!!!
