August Was Awesome!

The month of August brought so much adventure to unknown places, rekindled friendships, and a ton of beach trips that included various friends of all ages. Spending time with family and friends are the things that make this family of mine happy, and I am so grateful that we took advantage of our time to include others during our summer. School resumes in a few days, and just like that (snapping of the fingers) summer is pretty much over. I will miss the daily adventures we had with our kids, and hope to make some more on the weekends throughout fall and winter. Time flies by so quick, and every year it seems to go by faster and faster. Growing children will do that to you!

So now I leave you with a few photos from our most recent beach trip with four precious young women, and a darling little boy.

Three of them are mine....
^^^ We were lucky to have found a spot right near the water so that I can keep tabs on this little dude. ^^^

^^^ Attempted to bury her in the sand, but to no avail. It was too much work, and Noah kept dumping sand on her face! She was getting annoyed! ^^^

 ^^^ Digging for crabs. ^^^

^^^ I'm the king of the ocean! ^^^
^^^ What a cute little dude! ^^^
^^^ Today i decided to sit, and relax and watch the kids have fun. Tried to read a few chapters of this book, but constantly had to keep tabs on this little boy because the girls were having too much fun in the water! I didn't always want them to look after him. After all...they all came here to unwind, and have fun! ^^^
^^^ See what I mean...I could never get him out of the water. He's a busy boy that requires a lot of looking after...especially when it comes to the water! ^^^
^^^ this should be my job, but thankful to Lexie who enjoys entertaining her baby bro. ^^^

^^^ Requisite photo of four precious girls who deserved a much needed beach trip before school resumes! ^^^
Hope your summer was just as fun as ours was no matter what you did, where you went, and who you spent it with!

So long August...see ya next summer!

**You can go herehere, here, and here, to read more about all the beach trips we had this summer!
