Storm after Storm

For the past two weeks we've had back to back snow storms which resulted in school being cancelled and/or on two-hour delays for school in the morning. I wasn't raised with snow but I did live in it for ten years in Utah. I remember the girls walking to school in 6-8 inches of snow and never having school cancelled.

When we lived in North Carolina five years ago I chuckled when they would cancel school the day before it would even snow! We are going on our third year living in New Jersey. It seems that with each passing year the snow storms become more heavier, therefore resulting in multiple snow days...and the girls were ecstatic!

They had fun going sledding in our own back yard...
and making snowballs (or at least trying to).
Chelsea making a snow angel.
Noah was brave enough to be outside just for a little while to see what all the fuss was about until he got too cold.
Chelsea wanted me to take a picture of her with this snowman. Neighborly kids built it at a nearby park and we spotted it as we were walking home from her bus stop.
Snow days are fun but once we have three in a row...it can make you go stir crazy!

*Do you have school cancelled in your neck of the woods due to heavy snow storms?
*What do you do on a snow day besides sledding?
