NOAH-ISMS

This boy is such a ham, and with that "I'm so cute, sweet, kind, fun, crazy" like personality of his I can never resist in getting him some of the things he asks for, and some of the things he'd like to do.  For instance, he always wants to ride his scooter whether rain or shine or in the house (thank goodness for hardwood floors), and for the twentieth time he keeps asking for an optimus prime transformer. Not the action figure, the actual toy that transforms from Optimus to a red and blue truck! Still trying to find the perfect one, and i'm in no rush to find it, or buy it anytime soon.
The way he voices his thoughts, and mumbles under his breath while playing with his toys is so much fun to watch, and listen. I really wish I would have been more observant with the girls while they were playing tea party, and in jotting down all the funny things they said while they were little. So grateful for a generation of younger mommy bloggers that are doing this with their kiddies, and that I felt inspired to do the same thing this late in the game!

And these are a few things that he has said in the past month or so...

On losing his second tooth...

We were all in the car when Noah lost his second tooth. He was eating gummy coke bottles when it happened. Chelsea shouted out, "mom he swallowed his tooth!" Me, "did you swallow your tooth?" Noah, "I don't eat tooth's mommy!" We were all in the car while this happened and Chelsea said to him, "you know the tooth fairy isn't coming to leave you money because you swallowed your tooth." Noah, "Yeah, whatever...I just wish my teeth would stay inside." Apparently he doesn't care too much for the tooth fairy. At least for now!

Noah on playing doctor...

"Does Chelsea have eater wax?" "Why do you have hairs in your nose daddy?"

On Fast Sunday...

"Why is your belly making loud noises daddy?"

On the night of Family Home Evening...

"I will draw the trucks, and the holy ghost, and mommy you can write the sentences, and Lexie can write out the talk."

While watching Sesame street...

singing the song "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" with Elmo in front of the television.

While i was struggling to open a dumb straw, and Noah demonstrates...
"Pinch it and pull it mom!"

Thanks son!

Happy Monday!
