An Inspirational Thought To Strengthen Our Children.

"There is a spirit working among the Saints to educate their own offspring.
If our children will be all we will have for a foundation of glory in eternity, how needful that they be properly trained.
There are wolves among us in sheep's clothing ready to lead astray our little ones.
Wolves do not devour old sheep when there are any young ones.
I have herded sheep long enough to know that.
Look after your children."
-John Taylor

Going to the temple is one of our greatest strengths as a family and I hope that it will continue to be one until the second coming! I know that is one place where we are guided and protected by the evils of the world, and by going more frequently can prevent us from making poor choices.

Especially our children.

Trials will always arise, and they will have their own individual issues to deal with, but if they know the proper way to strengthen themselves, and strive to do good on their own they need not to fear.

Still...there is that feeling of doubt that can creep in their mind as to who they are, and what they are meant to do. There may be times when they will "forget" how they were raised, and what proper principles they were taught in their youth. It's tough, and that's when prayer, and turning to the scriptures for answers come in. Being guided by that voice we tend to ignore is something that can seriously guide them in bad situations.

I love this quote by President Taylor because it tells us plain and simple how easy it is for our children to slip away from us, and go astray, and become close to someone or something naughty that is disguised as a bad wolf in sheep's clothing.

I know this to be true, because like countless others I've been there. Therefore I am doing my best to look after my kids with sharp eyes so that I can protect them from the evils of the world.

That way when they are on their own, they will know how to recognize it because of their "parental training" from yours truly.
