Barnegat Lighthouse.

Ever since we took a trip to Maine 12 years ago, and discovered the lighthouse in Cape Neddick I automatically fell in love with lighthouses. And when I first stepped foot inside a lighthouse I was amazed at the history as to how they are built, and to look at the ocean from atop of a lighthouse is absolutely amazing! Growing up near the gulf in Texas really made me a beach girl, and for that I will always be grateful! I'm a beach girl through and through, and love venturing out to the beach no matter what season it is. This past spring break brought us so many small adventures, and the fact that we kept it low key, and close to home are the best trips ever! ya yeet.

Over the break we ventured out to Long Island Beach, and even though it was cold we managed to check out the lighthouse, and walked around looking at dead crabs, and playing on rocks.

At least Noah was!
This time Lexie graced us with her presence in joining us. She missed out going with us to spring lake beach where she missed out on having a tornado at Coney Waffle. But I think the fact that we were going to check out Ron Jon Surf shop caught her attention.
Noah has become extremely fond of the beach no matter what time of year it is, and has informed me that he wants to take surfing lessons! Recorded this little video of him pretending to surf!
The sun was about to set, and Noah wanted to see it through the lookout telescope viewer.
The shore around sunset is a perfect time to go! We watched the sun go down as we were walking back to our car. So beautiful!
So glad we discovered this gem, and that we found the time to go out without spending any money to walk around, laugh, talk about the sea, relax, and enjoy each others company. We will definitely come back here during summer!
