For Road Trips- Woodstock, Vermont.

Celebrating Noah's birthday all over New England was the icing on the cake, and in all honesty wish we could have spent another week there. America is a road trip, and the east coast has so much for us to do and explore. Noah has developed a penchant for history, and wanted to explore all over New England...again!

We only had three days to explore New England so we tried to pack in as much as we can. We drove a lot, the kids fought a lot, we ate a lot, and also laughed a lot. In between moments of exhaustion because of the time change we managed to get a lot of sleep in the hotel, and went to bed early so we could have more daylight to do things in the day (it literally got dark here at 4pm!)
The first stop we made was Woodstock, in Vermont and this little town is absolutely the sweetest. The shops are adorable, and people were soooooooo friendly! I love that we spent all day here.
Not too much to share in pictures, but because Jon was in need of some major shirts, (and flannel is his favorite) we stopped by this family owned shop. It literally has the best flannel feel, and wish I could have bought Jon all the flannel shirts in different plaids.
No pictures of food, just the restaurant from outside and this one was delicious!
It was a lot colder here than it was in Jersey, and luckily we packed our jackets, and beanies. Jon took a few photos of Noah as we were walking around town.
You can't tell, but in these two pictures Noah and I are freezing, and weathered the cold temps while Jon was snapping away, but I didn't want us looking all bulky in our coats so we took them off for these photos!
Woodstock is indeed a place to put on your bucket list. These photos don't do it justice. I also heard it's a party here during the wassail festival at Christmas, and hope to make it up here for that!
